The battle in ISML becomes more interesting as two residents of the same dorm face each other. They usually work with each other, have fun, and make projects together. Actually, Nanami was not a tenant until she needed to move in under certain circumstances. At first, it was a bit difficult for her to tune in with the other residents, but, in the end, she blended in well. Nanami also found her lover in here whom she let go for her friend’s happiness. She is a strong girl who strives for her goal, never gives up in order to achieve it, and cares about and helps her friends. On the other side, Mashiro is an innocent girl who does not paying much attention to her surrounding, but easily blends in with the others. Despite her innocent, she frequently asks some hard question to answer. No one ever doubt about the greatness of her hands in creating a magnificent paintings. In her dorm, she learns how to socialize and live independently. Luckily, she meets a boy who takes care of her from time to time whenever she needs it. So make your choice!

Nanami: But, I am sad we are meeting so soon.
Mashiro: I’m not.
Nanami: Huh?
*Mashiro stands up*
Mashiro: Nanami, you made it this far through your hard work, sacrifice, and will alone. People see you vote for that and have chosen you to come this far. They didn’t just have to check you off; they wrote your name and placed it in the ballot.
*Nanami smiles tearing up a bit*
Nanami: Same goes for you, you know. You are naturally talented and beautiful. You may not speak or act much, but when you do, you inspire others. Whether you to become a game developer or inspire someone to compete with their lover, you have an aura about you.
Mashiro: Good. You stopped crying.
Nanami: Huh?
Mashiro: We are rivals, so remember that. We are doing this for our dorm, our home.
*Nanami and Mashiro nod as they walk on stage, with their friends and family cheering them on*

Despite their petite size, they can pack quite a punch! With their extensive combat prowess, combined with their absolute loyalty to their masters, they are a force to be reckoned with. For Rem, after she was saved from a massacre of her village, she has dedicated her life to protecting her master from enemies that have ill intentions against her master. Even if she felt that she was vastly inferior to her sister, she still tries to perform up to the high standards she placed upon herself. For Mumei, she considered herself 'reborn' when she met the leader of an independent force. Inspired by the words of the leader, she joined the forces, discarded her old name, and was granted her current name as a symbol of her allegiance to him. It was so strong that she even allowed the usage of her body to form half-zombies, sacrificing her own happiness and youth for what she assumed was for a greater good.

Their faithfulness is obvious to see, but should these two engage in combat, who shall emerge victorious?

Maybe if I participate in a club, things could change. “

Social outcasts or people who are misunderstood? Hikigaya Hachiman chose to be as reclusive of others as he can get. Hachiman does not wish to be popular or be associated with popular people, nor does he wish to participate in any activities and creating lasting bonds with club mates. He just wants to spend his own time his way without any restrictions. He feels better if he knows that people are not aware of his presence in the classroom. For Takasu Ryūji, his appearance is the main crutch that prevents him from interacting with others properly. Ironically, behind the supposed scary demeanor lies an honest boy who is more than willing to help others, even if it goes unnoticed. Unfortunately, having others agree to take his offer proves to be more challenging than the task itself. Which of these two can hold on to their aspirations until the end?

If it is a fight they want, it is a fight they are going to get. In Yukihira Sōma’s eyes, there are an infinite amount of ways to create one particular dish, and those who cannot see this possibility, he makes them believe in it in his dishes. With his never-say-die attitude, Sōma can turn an event that seems to put him in a disadvantage to something completely unexpected. Whether is creativity would sway the judge’s hearts is anyone’s guess. Sakamaki Izayoi finds himself in a world where the completion of challenges symbolize the strength of one’s group. Izayoi make look like a troublesome fellow, but his unusual strength and ability to think outside the box has lead his group to several surprising victories over other guilds. This was the kind of world he was seeking his entire life. Can Sōma take his opponent down with his dishes, or is Izayoi’s brains and brawn too much for his opponent to handle?

Size doesn’t mean everything. For both Shana and Shiro, their small stature and immature appearance reflect little of their ability to face tremendous obstacles and overcome them. Whether it’s fighting off quite literally the end of the world or conquering a brand new one, both girls have shown a fighting spirit that doesn’t seem to fit inside. But, size also doesn’t tell the unique story of who they are. Shiro is a silent tactician who doggedly follows her older brother. The two of them require each other to function, and they enable the other to full potential. In contrast, Shana has been alone since the beginning, a leader at heart, a guiding flame for those who have lost their ways. Even after losing close ties and connections, she does not waver and fights to the very end. It’s easy to misjudge Shiro and Shana by their stature and even easier to group them together by their size. The simple truth is that they both walk separate but equally difficult paths, sharing only a common determination and drive. All it takes to understand that is to meet them at their level, even if it requires stooping a little.

This time, ISML’s voters will be entertained by our two incredible candidates. On one side, we have the fire magician, Megumin. She is cute, attractive, and sometimes a bit clumsy. She’s used to getting rejected by other parties since she will exhaust all her power to the point of immobility. Luckily, she finally found a party that wants to accept her as she is. Her specialty is fire magic, able to summon a huge amount of fire from the sky to burn down her opponents. On the other side, we have Ex-Goddess Aqua. She used to be a God who sends people to afterworld, but now, under a young boy’s wish, she has to accompany that boy to play in the afterworld. She is cute, beautiful, has a strong will, and a bit stubborn. Sometimes, she acts cool, but she gets into trouble because of her actions. Similar with Megumin, she’s also short-tempered and will attack the opponent suddenly. She is able to summon water out of nowhere and heal injuries from the battlefield. Who will the voters side with?
